ABSTRACT
This project is a research into some
analytic methods for solving Laplace's equation and the application of
Laplace's equation to physical and' engineering situations. in chapter one, I
discuss the relevance of Laplace's equation and hence the reason why I embarked
on this project. The scope of the work and the objectives I wish to achieve are
also contained in chapter one. Chapter two, in addition to containing some
definitions and theorems that are relevant to solving Laplace's equation,
contains a review of the analytic methods of interest... The applications of Laplace's
equation to physical and engineering situations, are contained in. chapter
three while the last chapter (chapter four), contains a conclusion of the
entire work.
