ABSTRACT 

This project was designed to compare the adop' 'en of ii pi eyed cecoyani production technologies in Ikwuano and Umuahia North L.G.A.s of Abia State. The respondents comprised of 120 farmers (60 faimers from each L.G.A.) who were randomly selected from tli. study areas. Means, percentages, ranking, t-test and Pearson correfi 'on cool ficierit were used to analyze the data collected. Eighty tive perrent of [lie farmers from Ikwuano L.G.A. compared with hundred percent of farmers from Umuahia North LG.A. were aware of Xanthosorna esculejiLi (30-GOgrams).
