ABSTARCT
The research Work the Impact of export trade on Nigeria economy explains the contributions export like earning foreign exchange, increase firm's sales/profit, create employment, earn international recognition and improve standard of living of the citizens of the country and the countries where the goods are exported. Before Nigeria gain independence in 1960, Export of Agricultural products like palm products, cocoa, bean and groundnut was one of the exported goods that carried a lot of income to the country, which means that export trade should be encouraged in Nigeria. The Research Methodology employed however discussed with reference to the research design, source of data collection and instrument/statistical method of testing hypothesis, which employed the use of single regression. Finally the last segment which consists of detailed explanation of findings, policy recommendation, summary and conclusion of study.
