The Impact Of Commercial Bank Lending On The Performance Of Small Scale Industries In Nigeria
ABSTRACT
This research work is set to carry out a
critical look at the impact of commercial hank lending on the performance of
small scale industries in Nigeria. The materials gathered for this study have
been presented in five chapters. Chapter one has to do with the background of the
study. The second chapter discussed the related literature, while chapter three
dealt with the data collection for the research work. (i.e. research design and
methodology).Chapter four has to do with the presentation and analysis of data,
where two hypotheses were formulated and tested for the research work. It was
discovered among other things that commercial bank loans to small scale
industries' dues not have a positive impact on the level, of employment in
industries, and the number of beneficiaries of Entrepreneurship Development
Programme (EDV)Therefore, access to finance is one of the factors standing in
the way of the growth of small scale industries. Based on these, finding,
conclusion and recommendations were made in chapter five.
