Abstract
Science education according to Aktamis &
Yerice (2010) has several goals which includes educating students to be able to
adapt to different conditions, be flexible thinkers, be inquisitive and be able
to ask questions, be creative and even think critically. Science education
therefore should be able to provide good standards forpeople that eventually
lead to cultural developments(According to Gutulo and Tekello (2015). In
orderto achieve this, developing countries have to make efforts to develop
their science education as learner-centered, teacher-assisted, action oriented,
and project based education program (Gutulo and Tekello 2015). Science explains
many natural occurrences and plays a very important role in the world’s current
technology developmentwhich makes it very important.
