Remuneration is a critical aspect of employment relations between the employer and the employee. It functions as a zeal that fires the commitment to higher performance, which is elicited through prompt and regular payment of salaries. Richadson (2010) opined that remuneration is the reward or compensation given to the employees for their work performances.
