ABSTRACT
A study was conducted with 30 cress breed (chinchilla x New
Zealand white) rabbits to determine the digestibility and nutrient utilization
of rabbits fed raw graded levels oi [3anihara .1OuU(IflhIt ( l"iiza
sublcu,'aiicaii (L) I/erdc) offal (BOO) The exp nenta desu was C etely Rac zed
Design (CRD). There were IlYC treatmentS with each treatment replicated three
times. There were two rabhts per uepbeatc The i:iciuslon levels of BOO meal in
the experimental diets WCVC 0. 5. 0, 5 and 20 avaneters measured were feed
intake, nutrient intake and nutrients voided. iluiri. :nt retention and
apparent nutrient digestibility. Results showed that rabbits fed 20" BGO
diCt had higher CE (18.92 g) and CF (11.31 g) intake, sigy 0S higher faeca1CP
(2.S3 g), CF (3.€ g, crude ash and NFE (5.48 g) than rabbits ed 0. 10 and 15%
BGO diets. Rabbits fed 0 and 5%, 10 and 15% BOO diets had ro significant
(P>0.05) differences among each other in and faeca uvents. Diet nf 2ci% BOO
significant'y (P0.0S) increased fieca1 dry im Ucr (98.58g), organic matter
(88.97g) and faecal nilrogcn(0.40g) nure due any other diet. Rabbits fed 20%
