ABSTRACT
This project is titled
construction and testing of a direct current (de) to alternating current (ac)
inverter system. It is constructed to meet up with the power demand in offices
and home in the absence of power supply from EEDC. The construction of this
work is designed in such a , way that it will take up 12 volts (de) from a
rechargeable battery and invert it to 220 volts (ac) at frequency of 50H2. And
this inverter * delivers a power of 1KVA to a load, and for this reason it
emits high current and requires thick wiring.
