ABSTRACT

With the advancement oftechnology, it is imperative to exalt all the systems into a user-friendly manner. The Cloud Based Library Management system acts as a tool to transform traditional libraries into digital libraries. In traditional libraries, the students/user has to search for books which are difficult processes. The overall progress ofwork is slow due to the manual method. The librarians have to work tirelessly arranging and sorting books in the book library. At the same time, they have to check records ofstudents who wants to borrow or return books. It is a tedious process to work simultaneously in different sectors. The Cloud Based Library Management System will assist the librarians to work easily. The Cloud Based Library Management System supports the librarians to encounter all the issues concurrently. The users need not stand in a queue for a long period to return/borrow a book from the library. The single PC contains all the data's in it. The librarians have to assess the system and provide an entry in it. Through Cloud Based Library Management System the librarian can find the book in the bookshelves. The Cloud Based Library Management System is designed with the basic features such as librarian can add/view/update/delete books and students' details in it. Librarians can modify any data's in the database once they have access to the systemSystem Development life cycle (SDLC) is the most common process adopted to develop a project and not surprisingly, this project is following this model too. To be precise, waterfall model is being applied. Waterfall model is a sequential model process where the input of a phase actually results from the previous phase.. The complete model is developed using Javascript technologies, React.js is used to build the front end application, and Node.js for the back end, MongoDb as the database. The authorized person can only access the system, they have to log in with their password. The Cloud Based Library Management System is designed in a user-friendly manner. Every data is storing and retrieving from the MongoDb database. After the development of this system it was able to register new members, update members record when book is borrowed or returned, add new books, keep record of all books in the library, read and modify members profile.
