ABSTRACT

The objective of this project is to develop a system that will provide a standardized format for storing data and tracking alumni. It also performs the time consuming accounting and billing functions associated with the Association's membership management. This work provides an outline covering the Alumni Association's system requirements analysis and design methodology. This system is beneficiary to the service and administration of the alumni and database system. The design and development of this work is based on relational database for collection of data from alumni. The existing system is a manual one which makes work very slow and time consuming. The proposed system is a computerized system but which is maintained at centralized databases i.e. in automated forms it's a very fast process. The system was develop using notepad++, PHP as server side client and MYSQL as database management. The system also use Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) integrated with JavaScript as a scripting Language. The system was styled with Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). This project involves four phase first phase was doing a literature review. Second phase is development and programming the code for the client and administrator side. The third phase is installation and testing into real system and the last phase is writing of the report.
